The Challenge
The estate is organized as a series of interconnected pavilions radiating from a central living space, allowing each programmatic element to operate independently while maintaining cohesion. Living, dining, and private suites are distributed across distinct volumes, linked by covered walkways and open courtyards that encourage movement through the property. The architecture emphasizes clean lines and proportion, supported by a restrained palette of white stucco, natural stone, and steel-framed glass. A large infinity-edge pool anchors the outdoor environment, extending the visual plane toward the Sea of Cortéz. Surrounding terraces and shaded lounges create layered zones for gathering and retreat. The flat rooflines and low-profile massing reinforce the horizontal relationship to the horizon, ensuring the structure complements rather than competes with the surrounding terrain.
